Famous and experienced winemaker in California

Bob Stashak is the winemaker of BLANC DE BLEU, he graduated from the University of California at Davis which is famous for its expertise in agriculture and has a degree of Fermentation Science. Bob is in charge of the barrel fermentation and aging program in the winery, and with 44 years of wine making experience, he has become one of the best winemakers in California, USA.

In order to make a lower-alcohol wine, the winemaker harvested the grapes early in their ripening circle. Then the grapes were pressed and pumped to a stainless steel fermentation tank for the first fermentation; later, Charmat method was used for the second fermentation. After the fermentation is completed, natural blueberry juice concentrate was added to the wine to create tiffany blue color with a dry, crisp finish.
